Dr Philip Stammers - Veterinarian

  • BVSc (Hons)

Phil graduated from Melbourne University in 1976.  He commenced at Tatura Veterinary Clinic in 1978, after a short stint in the city as a small animal clinician.  He joined the Partnership in the mid 1980’s and is the longest serving member of the team.  Phil is a mixed animal clinician, mainly alpacas and small animals, with a special interest in alpaca medicine and surgery.  He enjoys tennis, waterskiing, and lives in Tatura with his wife Jenny and three children.

Dr Ian Gill - Veterinarian

  • BVSc

Ian joined the practice in 1992 to develop his interest in dairy herd medicine (in particular mastitis, reproduction and other economically important diseases), clinical medicine, obstetrics and surgery.  He also enjoys dealing with emergency problems in horses, alpacas, dogs and cats.

Ian is married to Geraldine and has two adult daughters.  In his spare time he enjoys skiing, hunting, fishing, a glass of red with dinner and barracking for the Bombers.  He has reluctantly given up his regular morning run and begun walking his dog Bella instead, but is hopeful this is only a temporary arrangement!
